In view of provision made under section 313(1)(b)(c) of BMC act certain projections projected on street are allowed to be attached to the premises on ground floor of the building abutting on the Municipal street / footpath/ property. The projections such as Over-hanging, Awning / Weather-frame is allowed with a view to have protection from sun and rain while projection like stall board / showcase for displaying goods sold by the shop fall under this category.
