Vaitarna Holiday Camp:
Where: The Holiday Camp at Vaitarna situated about 129 Kms. (80 miles) from Mumbai, can be approached directly by Mumbai-Agra Road, via Khardi or by train via (Khardi Railway Station on the Central Railway) from where there is a regular State Transport Bus Service available.
The distance between Khardi and Vaitarna is about 16 Kms. (10.5 miles). Issue of permissions to the public as well as to the Councillors and other officers has been temporarily suspended.

BEST's Sunday Excursion Services:
The Undertaking does not operate any Excursion tours. On Sundays and Holidays during evening period the BEST Undertaking operates extra buses for Juhu Beach from Santacruz Station and Dahisar Bridge except monsoon period. The Maharashtra Tourism Development Corporation (M.T.D.C.) Ltd. operates Heritage visits on Saturdays, Sundays and Holidays except monsoon period in South Mumbai using BEST open deck buses. The booking of tickets is done at the MTDC Office near Mantralaya.
