  1. Collection and Maintenance of Accounts of income and expenditure.
  2. Preparation of Final Account- Income and Expenditure/ Balance Sheet.
  3. Maintenance of Accounts- Various Funds Such as PF, Sinking Fund etc.
  4. Scrutiny and payment of bills pertaining to M.C.G.B. (Including establishment /pension & PF proposal except that of Water Supply and Sewage Depts.) (BUDGET -G)
  5. He shall prepare the claims against Govt. for grant-in-aid as admissible for primary education, slum Improvement and for rebate on Urban Immovable property Tax in the City, house repairs Cess and for share in Entertainment tax etc.
